By Venelin Sapundziev

Page 48

"Casa Mare" is a particular place in every Moldovan’s house. This is the most beautiful room, the corner for special guests. The beginning of the night in "Casa Mare" must be with Sherry Brandy. After the small appetizer you can continue only with the popular "cuika", which is a kind of the famous Balkan drink "rakia". Dried fruit or "Brunza" cheese are a good relish. It is better if the meatballs, which you eat in Moldova, are from three different kinds of meat. Delicious are the popular Moldavian griddle-cakes. That is how you spend a real night in Moldova.
